The clean lines of Uniqlo

Although I often tend to dress the opposite, I have always appreciated the simple and clean lines of Uniqlo's clothes. There is something soothing about going into an Uniqlo store and seeing those (usually) several floors filled with color-organized clothes. Not to mention the sheer practicality of the design which is constantly being perfected.

Here is a combination that would work great with both flats or heels for a more sophisticated look (I would personally choose the burgundy skirt, for the color and texture).

But what I also like about Uniqlo, is that they often do collaborations with famous designers who then bring a bit more color and patterns than Uniqlo would normally have it. This is from a recent collection of Celia Birtwell - for some reason these tops remind me of cupcakes! :)

Back to Black

With cold days approaching I always find myself going back to black. Black is just so universal, and works for both casual and more sophisticated outfits. Basically, you can never go wrong with black and these ladies prove it.

And my favorite black piece at the moment from Sheinside.

Purrrlicious

I have been apprehensive of animal prints, esp. the leopard ones, for a while but it finally caught up with me. You will probably (coz you can never be sure) never see me with several items with animal prints at a time, but these H&M sneakers stole my heart. And while I am at it, why not pair them up with a laid back sweatshirt for a comfy Sunday look?

Style Crush: Erin Wasson

Erin Wasson is one of the supermodels of her times, probably because of her edgy and unique look. Admittedly she is a bit too skinny and has no boobs whatsoever, but she seems to be so comfortable with her body and often wears clothes that accentuate precisely those features.

Erin is just the epitome of the "I don't care what anybody thinks" laid back attitude and excellent sense of style. And I lover her!

The Power of Bags

Leather bags. Whether it is ethical to buy leather bags is for every person to decide, but most women will pay a bit extra to have a real leather bag. Imitation leather bags, if not done properly, often look cheap and wear out quickly - problem that the almighty H&M has had for a while now!

However, this season they have apparently decided to kick it up a notch! First of all, the imitation leather bags look really good but they also started producing real leather bags that are just a must have. So now there's something in store for everyone, depending on your pocket depth and ethical preferences. Well done H&M!
